Exclusive: How we made the “Wall of Death” short film for Autodesk Maya
We are incredibly proud to announce Autodesk Maya’s release of our “Wall of Death” film, created in partnership with Rockstar to showcase Maya’s 2018 update features. For this project, Long Winter had the privilege of pitching and designing the entire film, from concept to final footage.
The main character, Grizz, riffs off an internally developed concept by the talented artists Eric Meister and Thomas Moore. In the exclusive concept and behind-the-scenes art below you can see where it all started, some of the character ideas we explored in Grizz, and the final renders. Enjoy!
